I am a double-board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. Originating my career in Cuba as a pediatrician, I witnessed the lasting effects of mental illness and the societal stigmas surrounding it within families. Relocating to the USA broadened my horizons and deepened my commitment to mental health, culminating in my specialization in psychiatric care.
Amid today’s dynamic social landscape, maintaining a sense of grounding can feel challenging. Through a patient-centered approach, I empower individuals to realize their full potential and attain a balanced state through a collaborative treatment model.
